Today I popped over to see my mum and dad for a couple of hours. When I came home sweet man had fixed dinner for us. Sometimes I forget how lucky I am.
Cajun spiced onions and peppers
Chicken with fajita spices
Everything ready to go into the wraps.
It was a very tasty dinner and I will miss dinner being made for me when sweet man goes back to work on Wednesday.
This evening after everything being finalised for my son starting university on the 21st September and his timetable being sent to him we decided it was time to celebrate with him.
We splashed out a little and bought a bottle of champagne and macaroons which are his favourite desert. We have told him to keep the cork because the next bottle that we get him will be when he is wearing his cap and gown celebrating passing his degree.
Well I am off to drink my champagne so have a lovely evening.
Oh, how nice. Have a glass of bubbly and a macaroon for me, will you? LOL! The 4 years will go by in a flash... my oldest is starting his senior year and I feel that it was yesterday that he graduated from high school!
ReplyDeleteIn answer to the questions "Have you done yours yet?" my answer is nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I need to do it! Arrgh.
Oh Nathalie you do make me giggle. I see you have done your menu now and very yummy it looks too.
DeleteI think high school flew by so I'm not surprised Uni does too. So is Senior your sons final year? And what is he majoring in? Xx
Yes, it's my oldest son's final year (1st year is freshman, 2nd year is sophomore, 3rd year is junior and 4th year is senior. That goes for high school and college). He majors in Jazz Studies (trumpet), which means that he'll probably end up working at Target the rest of his life (big department store where he is a part-time cashier right now). Shhh, don't tell him I said that! He's a very talented musician and I love hearing him play and am happy he is following a passion of his, but very few musicians make any money, I think. So I worry. My middle son is studying photography. Same thing :) My daughter is also artistic but she wants to make money so right now she's thinking video game design or something to do with computers. She still has 2 years of high school to go. My 13 year old has no clue. He just wants to stay home, watch YouTube, play videogames, and pet our cats. Somehow I don't think this is going to happen! So I worry about him too. I'm a worrier. I should have never had kids, knowing this about me, LOL.
